STUDENT WELFARE CELL (SWC)

Vision

It aims at providing support to advance the student’s academic, non-academic and personal abilities enabling them to face problems that hinder their academic success, with the end of qualifying them professionally upon the national and regional levels.

Mission

It abides with the program set by the college to provide a unique academic environment based on positive interaction among students and college and to help the students overcome all personal, social and academic hindrances.

Objectives

• To have a sole interaction between management, staff and students.
• To provide basic welfare facilities as per the students need.
• To work closely with other members of the college to enable the SWC function smoothly.

Outcome

The Cell is focused on empowering the students so that they can utilize their fullest potential and become productive members of the society.

Responsibilities

• Provide awareness about scholarship and health benefit schemes to all students.
• Conduct the St. Xavier's Merit Scholarship Examination (SXMSE) every year.
• Motivate the Vicariate and SXMSE beneficiary students in their academic and co-curricular activities.
